Musholm
By the Storebælt in Korsør is the holiday center Musholm, recognized as the world's most accessible holiday and sports center for people with disabilities. With the recent expansion of the center, the place creates an ideal setting for enriching experiences for people with and without disabilities.
The extended holiday center is a unique example of how architecture can create space for differences instead of equalizing them, and in general increase the quality of life for people with disabilities. The center is equipped with, among other things, a climbing wall, cable car and a 100-metre-long athletics and wheelchair racing track, so that users with various disabilities can develop physically and participate in the community.

The development of the center is divided into a large multi-hall and 24 new holiday homes. With wood as the primary material in the multi-hall, it gives the room a safe and warm atmosphere. The extension's facade is clad in cedar wood, which will patina beautifully and over time acquire a silver-grey color, making the architecture blend nicely into its scenic surroundings.
